Traffic and transport models are used for planning the infrastructure. Those models have been changed many times during the last decades. The main change was to disaggregate models. In this study is tried to make another market-segmentation of the disaggregate models than the destination motive. With cluster analyses a number of characterised activity patterns were found. With socio-economic characteristics clusters could be identified and a new market-segmentation is made of eight groups. From these eight groups the transport behaviour is studied-for vehicle ownership, modal split and occupation.
