Abstract

Acceleration noise is the standard deviation of acceleration, experienced by a vehicle. The cause of acceleration noise is examined. Attention is paid to the influence on the value of this magnitude for the driver, to the geometric aspects of the road, traffic lights, weather conditions and the vehicle. The quality of traffic flow is determined by travel time, costs, accident risks and driving comfort.
