Mode choice has always been an important topic of traffic researchers. In order to get a better hold on mobility in general and mode choice in particular, more needs to be known about the underlying process, the decision process. In the study here reported an attempt has been made to bring together information regarding mode choice from both the field of traffic research, and of decision analysis that will help us in an better understanding of mode choice, and will show which areas of research need to be further explored.
Abstract
