Abstract

In an earlier report the effects are described of decreasing the number of public transport journeys per day in rural areas or low density areas. The study made an estimation of the effects of decrease from 29 journeys per day to 11 and 4 journeys per day. The decrease to 7 is studied in this report. It showed a rather great negative influence on the mobility of inhabitants of such areas, but this negative influence can be minimized when the wishes of the passengers as regards the time of departere, are better considered.
