A vibrating hammer test for compactability of aggregates.

Abstract

Modifications have been made to the apparatus and procedure for the British Standard vibrating hammer test to obtain more reliable assessments of compatibility of graded aggregates. It has been found that the modified vibrating-hammer test is simple and reliable in use in practical laboratory conditions.
