Abstract
However it is extremely difficult to conduct an exact analysis of the vibration characteristics of the body external panel of an automotive vehicle, the authors of this article made it possible to conduct the closest approximate calculation of the resonance frequencies of the body external panel. It is shown by giving a proper choice of dimensions in accordance with the specifications of this particular panel and also with boundary conditions of the vibrator motions, thereby replacing the actual panel with a rectangular curved panel which is provided with a constant radius of curvature.
