Abstract

This report on vision clearance at intersections illustrates a method of determining the size of the area that must be kept free of obstructions in the absence of traffic control devices on law volume streets. Even where control devices are installed the degree of vision clearance described may be desirable. In an appendix the calculation of shopping distance is given.
