Abstract

In section one this booklet several research studies and their findings which deal with visual perception and driving are reviewed. Attention is paid to measurement of visual perception abilities, visual perception training in driving simulators and in the driver-education classroom, on street experience and personality. Section two contains a discussion of the results of these studies with an emphasis on the application of these results in the high school driver education program.
