Abstract
The main purpose of the report was to made a starting point for a problem analysis for the research into the visual and lighting aspects of traffic safety. More specific for research to be done about the principles of traffic lighting, its characteristics and belonging specifications. The report is based on the driver task. It is a schematic summary of a conceptual study in which the different points are systematically described (see PB 25507).
