Abstract
Information is one of the measures that can be used to try to decrease the use of the car in favour of public transport. The central theme of this report is the role of information in influencing the selection of the transport mode. Theories from the social psychology which explain or estimate the behaviour are used as a support and explanation of a model of behaviour modification, derived from the Fishbein and Ajzen model.
