Abstract

This report contains an experiment which has been set up to assess the effects of posters with accident information.Posters with accident information did only lower speeds significantly in curves, when they were located directly in front of them. Little generalisation of effects has been found. It seems necessary for any information campaign which makes use ofposters to choose the locations where they are placed with great care, so that road users can follow up their advices directly.
