Abstract
The main purpose of the demonstration projects on redivision and reconstruction of urban areas is to collect indicators with which the effects can be quantified. In this report the preliminary study to environmental hygiene is described. The study is focused on four aspects: noise hindrance, vibration levels, air pollution and the experience of these aspects. Measurements were done and a home interview was held. The results of these measurements and the interview are presented and discussed.
