Abstract
In the Netherlands the cyclists has before World War II the same juridical position in traffic as the car as regards priority. Thereafter fast driving had priority above slow driving traffic. During the last years an extensive research has been carried out on the priority- in- traffic problems. This chapter is based on the results to this research, but is limited to priority at junctions. Emphasis is laid on situations inside built- up areas and on the encounter between slow traffic (bicycle) and fast traffic (car).
