Abstract

To choose and optimise a method of spray control it is necessary to be able to measure its performance in terms of effects on car drivers. However, for routine testing some physical property of the spray has to be measured. The main object of the current research on spray measurement at TRRL is to find a way of measuring such a property, and then to calibrate it by establishing its relation to effects of the spray on nuisance and visibility.
