A presentation is made of statistics based on data derived from periodic vehicle inspections carried out by the national testing agency for vehicles in Sweden. The presentation is in the form of relative observation frequencies for defects in main vehicle systems and subsystems for a wide range of car makes/types. High levels of observation frequencies indicate weak points in vehicles generally as well as for particular vehicles types.
