Abstract

The integration and sharing of basic spatial data and traffic informationwith different sources, spatial scope, format and type is the basis for building integrated, high quality and efficient giant transportation systemfor the international metropolis Shanghai. With the integration and sharing of traffic information, there need to develop deeper and further application of function service and achieve service integration. GIS has deeply involved into traffic service environment and is no longer limited to the pure technology of data format, displaying means, but for mashup spatial related information and function in traffic eco-system. The paper takes Shanghai as an example for the web expression of integrated traffic information, and introduces a new GIS mashup service.
