Abstract
The influence of wearing a motor helmet on the detectability of signals was investigated. Hearing threshold measurements were done by 8 male and 4 female subjects, at speeds of 40 and 80 km/h for 9 types of helmets and also without helmet. The results of this experiment made it possible to rank the helmets from the best to worst hearing detectability of signals.
