Abstract

Possible contradiction between two adopted policies in Dutch physical planning: concentrated decentralisation of employment and limiting the increase of car mobility by stimulating the use of public transport are dealt with. The policy of stimulating the use of public transport can only be obtained in reference to so-called central station locations.
