Abstract

Between July 1997 and July 1998, 517 newly licensed 17-year old drivers from rural Western Australia were recruited to the Western Australian Young Driver Cohort Study. A report on the recruitment of the cohort and the findings of the questionnaire completed at the time of licensing was prepared in March 2000 (Report number RR96). In October 2000, a report (RR 106) was prepared on the findings at twelve months post licensing. At 24 months post licensing, 39 percent of the cohort completed and returned the annual follow-up questionnaire. This report details the findings of that questionnaire. (Author/publisher)
