Abstract

This study aims to find some hints being generally useful when we discuss the measures for the road traffic jam/congestion problem. The study is implemented by an international comparison. The objectives are the enterprises, especially the automobile enterprises, which have been investigated and locate in Japan, Thailand and Taiwan. Since all of them are Toyota Motor Corporation Group, I carried out the interview investigations comparatively easily. The viewpoints for the analysis of the mobility management include three aspects. The first one is whether the enterprises have their own transport plan for the workers' commuting to decease the total road traffic demand. The second point is whether the workers cooperate with the plan actively and how the plan is functional. The third point is whether the enterprises cooperates the local government so that their transport plan can contribute to solve the road traffic jam/congestion problem effectively (A). For the covering abstract of the conference see ITRD E212343.
