Abstract

The objective of Automotive Braking Systems is to provide controllable stops in the shortest practical distance. This paper reviews the factors involved in four and two-wheel wheel lock control systems and describes the parts which are available on some GM cars. Field experience is needed to confirm recent developments in the more complex parts.
