Abstract
After a description of the phenomenon whiplash, the medical consequences, the severity and long term of the complaints of whiplash patients, and difficulties in work situations are discussed. The book is mainly written for the whiplash patients, but also for the people in the environment of such patients, which often do not know how to handle the temporary modification in the psychology of the patient. The severity of the whiplash and the quick diagnosis and treatment are determining factors for the time and severity of complaints.
