Abstract

This reconstruction presentation examines the question of who was driving the vehicle in single car accidents, a question posed to the biomechanic /reconstructionist. A vehicle impact can leave a variety of information on occupant locations during a crash. This includes direct evidence such as hair, blood, and fingerprints as well as indirect evidence such as occupant kinematics.
