Abstract

TRB’s second Strategic Highway Research Program (SHRP 2) S2-R11-RW-2: WISE Software Users Guide explains how to use the work zone impact and strategy estimator (WISE) - a decision support software system designed to help evaluate the impact of work zones and determine strategies to reduce those impacts. In addition, SHRP Renewal Project R11 produced Strategic Approaches at the Corridor and Network Level to Minimize Disruption from the Renewal Process (http://www.trb.org/Main/Blurbs/168143.aspx) that documents the development of WISE. A project brief (http://www.trb.org/Main/Blurbs/171083.aspx) summarizes the results of the study.
