Abstract
The psychology of perception more strictly speaking, does not give any useful indication for a preference for any colour for the type of visual perception as prevailing in road traffic. Some side-effects present some preference for yellow light. There is, however, little ground to expect this small difference in discomfort glare to have any appreciable effect on road safety.
