Research and training in the area in injury control is coordinated at the Centre for Biomedical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi. Biomedical Engineering activity at the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi (IITD), started in collaboration with All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Delhi in 1971. The activities outlined in this report are carried out by joiny efforts of professionals in different departments and centres of IITD
