Work standards and programmed budgeting for maintenance operations.

Abstract

A Maintenance work improvement study was conducted in Minnesota. Work standards were developed which would employ a standard work method, production rate commensurate with a method, optimum crew size and proper equipment for the job. These time standards were developed on various field and shop operations within a private district and the central shop.
