Abstract

The purpose of workshop 3, which viewed the evaluation of urban public transportation from the planner's perspective, was to identify the steps in the planning process and to evaluate current ability to perform each of these steps in terms of available procedures and knowledge. In total 12 research projects are identified as being necessary for an adequate evaluation of urban public transportation.
