Abstract

Injuries and deaths resulting from young driver accidents have long been recognized as a major health and safety problem in Canada. Although it is commonly accepted that effective control measures must be based upon sound research, Canadian research efforts have been virtually non-existent. Even the magnitude of the problem is not well documented. This report provides such documentation.
