Abstract

Young drivers represent about 10% of population but 30% share in accidents. In 1986, in Germany a campaign was started in order to make young drivers aware of the risks of traffic and the limits of their ability and skill. Results were positive as far as publishing and awareness of the public are concerned. Influence on accident rates is too early to judge. However, the campaign must be exposed to all regions of the country.
