Abstract
To diminish the high accident risk of young drivers, new methods for accident prevention are being investigated. This study in the framework of the European project NovEV evaluates the effects of a post-license training on higher order skills. This second phase driver training consisted of an on-road feedback drive, a training on closed track, a group discussion and a post-test on-road feedback drive. Using a before-and-after design, the effects of the training were evaluated using a control group.
