Abstract

This report describes changes in the magnitude and characteristics of the problem of road crashes involving young people, identifies its causes, including the role of alcohol, and discusses promising and proven solutions. The objectives of the report are to increase public and political awareness about the dimensions of the problem, to generate concern, and to foster a commitment to action. (Author/publisher)
