Abstract

An upward surge in the numbers of young people involved in drinking and its ramifications- arrests for drunk driving, accidents, injuries and deaths- is beginning to become clear in the statistics. A series of proposals are given to cope with this problem. Emphasis in the present work is directed towards the remaining major contributing factors in teenage drinking and driving. Begin with the awareness that the availability of alcohol to the teenage driver can be impacted.
