Abstract

In the Netherlands there is a tendency for limiting the car- mobility. This limitation should be a selective one. Traffic with an income- spending character should be limited in favour of an income- generating traffic. Business traffic can be considered as productive traffic. While there is little known about the magnitude and extent of business traffic in contradiction with other traffic modes like commuter traffic, this study is made into the development and background of business traffic.
