The number of bicycles with side reflection was counted in December 1988 and compared to similar earlier counts. Ca. 73% of the bicycles were provided with side reflection, in 1987 ca. 70%. Bicycles in bicycle sheds were checked on schools and in stations. Only 60% of the bicycles checked on the road had side reflection, like the bicycles at railway stations.
