Abstract

Mobility in the housing market and the labour market is modeled by relating the propensity to move to another dwelling or to another job to discrete choise models. From this the demand on both markets can be determined and confronted with the available supply that consists of vacant dwellings and jobs. The model is able to describe equilibrium states as well as the behaviour of both markets out of equilibrium.
