Abstract

This third Zuid-Holland road safety-effect report was published in 2002 (ZER-V 2002). In the report, the development is described of the most important intermediate and final aims which were established by the Provincial Road Safety Board of Zuid-Holland in order to improve road safety in this Dutch province. This establishment was done for the following topics: casualties and accidents; Sustainably-Safe infrastructure; speed; alcohol, drugs and medicines; safety belt use; traffic education; municipal road safety policy; support for road safety (measures); stimulation of road safety partners; monitoring and knowledge development; and autonomous developments.
