Abstract
Results of an omnibus interview among the Dutch population on what people are prepared to pay on the introduction of unleaded fuel. There is a fair acceptation of cars using this fuel. If they are more expensive one tends to keep his old car longer or buy a more simple car. One is not likely to abandon car ownership altogether; less spending on clothes and holidays is not probable as well.
