Sarah Gebhard, MSc, conducts research in the department of ‘Infrastructure and Traffic’ on the relationship between road design and traffic safety. Her work involves analyzing infrastructure and traffic incident data, traffic models and cycling infrastructure. Sarah is also involved in the EU project LEVITATE about connected and automated vehicles.
In 2020, Sarah Gebhard graduated from Eindhoven University of Technology with the master Urban Systems & Real Estate. Her thesis focused on modelling cyclists’ route choice behaviour based on GPS data and road characteristics.
