The 10th Young Researchers Seminar was held on September 15-17, 2021 in Portorož. The seminar offered the opportunity to a network of young transport researchers from members of ECTRI, FEHRL and FERSI as well as from research organisations across the US to gather and interact during the three-day seminar.
SWOV researchers Uijtdewilligen, Kamphuis and de Zwart contributed to the event:
- Uijtdewilligen talked about the importance of using detailed bicycle exposure data in cyclist safety analysis
- De Zwart talked about the impact of automated vehicles on road safety within the LEVITATE project.
- Kamphuis talked about hazard perception, traffic situation overview and reaction time in drivers with early Alzheimer’s disease
