1968 World survey of current research and development on Roads and road transport; a report covering a 40 countries survey sponsored by U.S. Department of Transportation, U.S. Bureau of Public Roads annd prepared by International Road Federation.

This report includes a comprehensive survey of research in five countries not previously surveyed and a complete resurvey in 12 countries previously surveyed in 1965. In the 23 countries which were surveyed during the past two years, the information previously reported has been updated to the extent that information has been made available to IRF using various experimental procedures. This a total of 40 countries are included in this report.
