This is the sixth annual report of the Highway Safety Improvement program. Reports are given for the rail-highway crossing program, the pavement marking demonstration program and the hazard elimination program. Other topics included are highway related safety program standards; highway safety research, development and training; motor carrier safety and highway safety information.
