Samenvatting
A number of preliminary estimate of traffic fatalities and fatal accidents for 1986 in the USA is given. Trend data are presented for both the long and short term. The death toll on American highway reacted an estimated level of 46 000 fatalities in 1986, which is about 5% higher than 1985.
