Samenvatting
Several possibilities for inviting tenders for elements of the operation of public transport in the Amsterdam region have been explored. It is concluded that in principle there are various possibilities, but more information and experience is needed. The paper proposes to acquire more experience by means of experiments, and to adopt a phased approach for the introduction of contracts.
