Samenvatting
Energy is described here as the fuel consumption of motorized traffic and the possible influencing of it by traffic engineering or measures from traffic engineering. In correlation with the used term energy traffic engineering is described here as the arrangement and the use of the road network related to the fuel consumption. Different subjects of energy saving measures are briefly described.
