Samenvatting
The nineteen seventies were characterized by increased attention to provisions for the more vulnerable road users. At different levels of administration and at different places specifications were set up for the priority and the design of these provisions. The author discusses the results of a study into the safety of bicycle and moped traffic along road sections between junctions outside built-up areas. The results are presented in relative values for traffic safety for each different type of bicycle and moped provision. Recommendations are presented.
