Samenvatting
Attention has been given to the study of whether the construction of cycle tracks is justified from the point of view of objective traffic safety criteria. The improvement of bicycle comfort by the construction of cycle tracks was used as an argument for the use of the bicycle as an alternative transport mode. The application of recommendations given for the construction of cycle tracks is discussed. The evaluation of some factors in practice is presented. Insight is given into the effect which a number of bicycle and moped provisions already in use have had.
