Aanwezigheid en gebruik van autogordels op de voorzitplaatsen van personenauto's in 1990

The results of a surveillance method used in 1990 to ascertain the development of seat belt usage in the Netherlands are described in this report. The usage in outside built-up areas was in 1990 the same as in 1989, namely 78%. The increase in seat belt use since 1986 seems to have definitively come to a standstill.
