Absolute speed limits, prima facie speed limits and speed zones : eighth progress report of the Joint Select Committee on Road Safety.

The operation of the prima facie speed limit, speed zoning and the desirability of introducing an absolute speed limit throughout the State of Victoria is inquired. An absolute maximum speed limit of 70 m.p.h. for daytime, and an absolute speed limit of 65 m.p.h. for nighttime is recommended.
