Samenvatting

Recognizing that access to facilities can be a function of the location of a facility, its size and/or the connecting transport routes and services, an accessibility analysis technique has been developed which can be used to model the impact of changes in any of these variables. This paper describes the development of this technique and its application to examine access to local and metropolitan-scale transport interchanges in the Cape Town metropolitan area in South Africa. (A) The French title of the paper is: "Techniques d'analyse d'accessibilité pour le repérage de nouveaux raccordements de transport public et services publics".
